Ellie's Littlee World

I was looking at blogger for the first time in forever (starts singing Frozen) and I noticed that I'm still getting a whole lot more traffic on this blog than on my new blog so I thought I would do a little plug here and make sure everyone knows where to find me now.

So I moved my blog over to WordPress at ellieslittleeworld.wordpress.com and be sure to check it out, I am posting (usually) twice weekly on there and I'm loving it.

Okay that's basically all I wanted to say, thanks for everything and see you at Ellie's World.

I'm Moving!

I've never really been proud of my blog. Sure I've been proud of some posts but in terms of looks it really isn't the greatest. So since the new year was here and I had been thinking a lot about switching to Wordpress so I could make my blog look how I wanted it to I figured now is the perfect time to move so I have. I've spent many hours working out how to export a blog and import it and trying to make the blog look good.

It's still in the making so it probably doesn't look perfect but all the posts are there from beautygirlblog99 and I am super excited to introduce ellieslittleeworld.wordpress.com or Ellies World for short.

I exported this blog to there so the posts from here are now there but if you want to read any of my new posts you will have to head on over there. Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me through this blog and I'm really looking forward to making my new one even better.

My 2015 Random Favourites

Throughout 2015, there were so many things that I loved and since I'm in the process of writing a post on my beauty favourites today I'm bringing you my more random favourites because I know a lot of people love knowing random favourites as well.
Food of 2015 - hmmm, how do I pick? I'm a big lover of anything sweet but in terms of savoury it would be filled pasta and for sweet either dried apple or cheesecake or chocolate orange.
Drink of 2015 - Magic Stars Hot Chocolate.
Music of 2015 - Blue Neighbourhood by Troye Sivan. By far. The whole album is incredible, I couldn't pick favourites.
Film of 2015 - okay, everyone is going to scream at me because I always go on about this but this year has been no exception and I have still been watching The Parent Trap. It is my all time favourite film but it is just so good. I also saw The Devil Wears Prada the first time this year and I was obsessed with it, it is a great girly film, especially if you're into fashion.
TV Show of 2015 - Pretty Little Liars. I started watching this at Easter-ish time and I fell in love with it and have been watching it ever since, I've watched it all the way through twice and I can't wait for it to start again very soon.
App of 2015 - Blogger. I know it sounds cringey but blogging has become one of my favourite things to do and when I have the Blogger app on my phone I can just write blog posts whenever I fancy.
Experience of 2015 - hmmmmm it took me a while to think what has been my favourite experience but I soon realised it was going to live in Spain for 2 months, it was difficult but it was so much fun and I loved it, I made a couple of great friends (although I haven't talked to them since) and had some amazing days and it also made me appreciate everything I had a lot more.
If you aren't into YouTube you might want to stop reading now as I'm about to rant about my favourite youtubers of 2015 but I hope you've enjoyed this post and had an amazing 2015.
Youtubers of 2015 - YouTube in general has been a favourite this year but I have a few youtubers in particular who deserve a mention.
Eve Bennett - how can I not mention Eve, I love her main videos and vlogs so so much, she is so genuine and down to earth and her editing is on fleek.
Gabby - her vlogs in particular, although I love her main channel videos just as much, but I honestly find her videos so funny and interesting and just great and she doesn't deserve any of the hate she is given.
Fabulous Hannah - oh my goshhhhh Hannah is hilarious and her videos are amazing, just watch her.
Joe Sugg - no explanation needed. Watch watch watch!
Obviously I can't mention everyone but I wanted to mention the people with less subscribers (plus Joe because fave) because they deserve so many more subscribers. Obviously I've also loved Zoe, Caspar, Tan, Jim, Evan, Hobbie and all the big youtubers too.

What I Got For Christmas 2015

Christmas is over... It's my favourite time of the year and it's over. It's currently Boxing Day and I am starting to write this post but it won't be going up until later because I always do present giving with my mums side of the family on Christmas Day, then I go to my dads for New Year and do present giving with him on about the 30th.
Disclaimer: I am so so so thankful for everything I have received this Christmas, I feel so lucky and I am not trying to brag or boast in any way. I asked if you guys would like to see this post and every single answer was yes so here goes. If you are gonna be offended by this post, you can click off now and come back for my next post because the last thing I want to do is offend someone.
Once I had written most of this post I realised just how long it was so I've put the person who gave it to me and what the present was in bold for those of you who don't want to read a whole ramble about how much I love everything.
So my main presents from my mum were clothes from Topshop which I really wanted. They are both black (whoops) and the first is a jumper which I am wearing as I write this and it is the softest, cosiest jumper I have ever worn. It feels like a blanket and is black and says 'California Surfing Association'. I don't know why I think it's cool it just is.
I also got the Black Joni Jeans which fit me PERFECTLY! They are so stretchy and perfect and will go with everything so I can't wait to wear them. I am so grateful for these, I've never owned any clothes from Topshop before but now I'm obsessed (they are a bit more expensive but you can definitely tell by the quality) and might have to buy some other things in the sale.
From my aunt and cousin I got something I am very happy about which is the Benefit World Famous Neutrals palette which I haven't actually swatched yet but it comes with two cream eyeshadows and four powders and it looks absolutely beautiful so I am very grateful for that. I'm just gonna say now I am so so so grateful for everything I got but if I say that for everything this will be a very long post but thank you to everyone who got me everything I love it all so much.
My brother knows me so well so he got me chocolate, and makeup. He got me the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Metallic Pomegranate and it is the most stunning colour and I am so excited to use it.

My uncle really spoilt me this year. The first thing he got me I can't contain my excitement HE GOT ME JOE AND CASPAR HIT THE ROAD!! He also got me WILD by Troye Sivan on CD and Girl Online, which I already have but I loved it so I don't mind.
From my friends I mostly just got chocolate, although I also got a bit of makeup and nail polish and one of my closest friends had ordered my present but it hadn't come by the end of term, although I'm pretty sure she's got me a  necklace.
From my grandparents and some other family I got money and my grandma on my mums side contributed to me, my mum and my brother's tickets to see the musical Guys and Dolls which I have to say was so so good.
*A few days later*
My dad gave me a subscription to a magazine, quite a few little gifts which I won't go into detail about and the nicest fluffy hot water bottle. From his partner, she got me some nail polishes, chocolates and a huge box. Inside the box were some new Ugg Boots although they are actually from a brand called Bear Paw from America. They are the warmest thing and look really nice so I love them (along with all of the gifts I received from them) a lot.
From my sister (I always call her my sister in posts because that's what I think of her as and its a lot easier than calling her my dads girlfriends daughter) I got The Body Shop Vanilla Body Mist which she has and I always steal but now I have my own so I am super excited because it smells INCREDIBLE.
I'm gonna leave that post here otherwise we will be here all day but I can see how a blog post would look a lot more boasty than a video so I'll just say one more time how grateful I am for every single present I received, and cards, and just messages. I had an amazing Christmas and I was not expecting any of this.

Chasing Your Dreams...

I don't really know what I'm doing writing this post but this is a topic that has been on my mind constantly recently and I thought it might be affecting some of you guys too so I'm doing what every blogger does in that situation which is write a post on it.

When I was a little kid, I wanted to be everything, a pop star, a writer, a singer. Then when I was maybe 11 I started acting in more and more school shows and then village ones too. I had anyways been in the plays even when I was at primary school - the main one I remember was being Mary in the Nativity when I was in Year 2 and being the Fisherman in Scherezade in whatever year that was.

Anyway for some reason when I started secondary school I became in love with acting and singing and performing and since then I had loved the thrill of being on stage and performing and it has been my dream ever since. I particularly wanted to be in Matilda at the West End.

You might remember me saying in my Blogmas that I had been to try out this weekend drama school place near me and how I wasn't sure if I wanted to commit to going or not. Well since then I have been realising that I'm not too sure if acting is my dream anymore. I've been thinking a lot about it and it just really isn't the same any more.

My village youth drama club thing are holding auditions on Sunday for the show Grease they are putting on in April and firstly, I didn't get the same happiness when I found out but also I was practising earlier the song I want to sing at the audition but I felt like it just wasn't the same anymore and my voice is very rusty.

I'm still going to audition because what have I got to lose? But it made me think even more that acting maybe isn't my dream anymore. I've also been thinking a whole lot more about makeup and fashion recently and I'm growing to love them more and more every day and I'm starting to feel like maybe my dreams are changing and I don't want to do drama anymore, I want to do something (I don't know what) to do with makeup and fashion.

I know I'm only 13 so I don't really need to be thinking about my future and jobs too much but my aspirations are just something I have been thinking about a lot recently.

If I have a completely different feeling after going to the audition I will update you but that is how I'm feeling at the moment.

I also just want to say that as I am going to be going back to school on Tuesday, my schedule will be going back to how it was before, except instead of committing to two posts a week I'm going to say this. There will be posts going up every Tuesday, most Friday's and some Sunday's.

What is your dream?

Day Out In Greenwich

Yesterday I went to Greenwich and I really felt like doing a bit of photography and putting it into a blog post so that's what I did. The only problem is the photos aren't the greatest quality as I had to take them with my phone so excuse that.

We got there at around 130 and we went to a cosy little cafe for lunch. I had a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea and they were very nice and the service was great and I don't know why I'm saying all that because I'm not a food blogger but I liked the decorations on the wall and the fairy lights and how they had magazines if you wanted to read and it just felt very homely.

We then went to a shoe shop nearby and I was eyeing up the converse and my dads girlfriend bought some wellies and we looked around. We also went to the market (hence the photo of the market's roof) and looked around there. We also went to an exhibition about Samuel Pepys because my dad wanted to go and some parts were interesting and some boring.

On the way home we went past a house my dad called 'Santa's Landing Strip' which had so many Christmas decorations and it was like something out of a movie but it was quite cool.

That's basically all we did yesterday but I actually thought it was a really nice day so I thought I would post this.

This will probably be my last post of the year as I have written quite a few posts but I haven't posted them because I need to take pictures for them and I don't have my iPad with me. But anyway, I hope 2015 has been a good year for you, it certainly has for me. If not, 2016 will be your year. I hope you all have a nice New Year's Eve (I have no plans other than staying in with my family haha oops!) and I will be back next year with more posts.

2016 Goals

I'm not gonna call them resolutions because, let's be honest, by the end of January most people have either given up on their New Year's Resolutions or they've forgotten about them. Although I probably won't achieve all of these I thought it would be a good idea to have some goals for the new year and some things I want to achieve.

I was looking at my resolutions post from last year (here) and I realised that I had only kind of completed all of them which leads me well onto my first goal.

Focus on one thing at a time and don't leave things half done.
So yeah, I realised what I do is that I want to achieve something and I start it but then I kind of stop half way and I am never fully happy with whatever the thing may be. Let's take my blog for example, for ages I have been wanting to change my blog around and work out how to give it a nice layout that reflects me with a background and header so earlier this month I made a header and changed it but it still looks a mess and I want to learn and do it properly so that's the only way I can explain really. It applies with my school work as well though.

Get good grades.
I'm definitely not one of those people who loves school, but at the same time I don't hate it. If I enjoy the topic we're learning about and like the teacher, I do find school interesting but I want to keep up my grades and I have exams in May so I want to get good grades in them.

Focus on Photography.
I love photography. I am probably going to pick it as one of my GCSE options. The thing is when I do have a camera and remember taking pictures makes me so happy but I always forget which is probably because I don't really have a good camera so I usually borrow my mums. I also would like to really improve the quality of pictures on here.

Be healthy and happy.
I eat a lot of crap. I eat loads of chocolate and not enough fruit and I snack when I am bored or worried so for that reason I am not happy with my diet or with my body which makes me feel a lot more self conscious so in the new year I would really like to start eating more healthily and stop snacking which will also make me a lot happier in myself.

Find my style.
At the moment I wear a lot of the same outfits and I'm finding them really dull and although I have a few new clothes recently which I love I would like to really find my style and have a new wardrobe if clothes which I am happy in and feel confident wearing. I also want to feel confident wearing clothes like skirts more than just on special occasions. I love doing fashion posts when I do as well so I would like to do a lot more fashion posts.

Qualify over Quantity.
As much as I enjoyed doing Blogmas, it really made me realise how in a way I was just putting posts up for the sake of putting them up when I wasn't really happy with them but it was because I wanted to put up a lot of posts. I want to really be proud of every post I put up on here and maybe that will mean there won't be as many posts sometimes but they will be better posts.

And there you go. I don't have too many goals as I feel like they really won't get done if I have too many but there are six so that means I have two months to fulfil each goal which is plenty (hopefully.)

This is my first post since Christmas so I hope you have all had an amazing Christmas and I hope you have an amazing New Year. I will be posting a What I Got For Christmas post but not for a few days, I'm not entirely sure when but I need to finish it off and take the pictures.
